Jim Risch, the top Republican on the Senate foreign relations committee, asked Blinken at a hearing whether he would support legislation to counter \u201cthe ICC sticking its nose in the business of countries that have an independent, legitimate democratic judicial system\u201d. Risch said he and other members were working on legislation to address the court\u2019s actions, which he described as \u201cwrong-headed\u201d.
