{"id":3487,"date":"2026-04-08T18:59:29","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T18:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopoliticsamongstates.gr\/?p=3487"},"modified":"2026-04-08T18:59:30","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T18:59:30","slug":"prof-john-mearsheimer%c2%b9-what-will-a-panicked-trump-do-now-channeling-hitler%c2%b2-april-7-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geopoliticsamongstates.gr\/?p=3487","title":{"rendered":"Prof. John Mearsheimer\u00b9 : What Will a Panicked Trump Do Now?, Channeling Hitler\u00b2, April 7, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><br>BLUF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s horrible where we are&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b9On 7 April 2026, I was on \u201cJudging Freedom\u201d talking with the Judge about President Trump\u2019s shocking \u201cTruth Social\u201d post about Iran, where he said that \u201cA whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.\u201d Of course, he is saying that the US and Israel will wipe Iran off the face of the earth, which is consistent with his earlier rhetoric that he intended to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, if it does not concede defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no question that this horrifying language reflects genocidal intent. Indeed, this is rhetoric you would expect from Adolf Hitler, not from the president of the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover there are hints from the Trump administration that the US or Israel might even employ nuclear weapons against Iran. VP Vance said for example: \u201cWe\u2019ve got tools in our toolkit that we so far haven\u2019t decided to use. The president of the United States can decide to use them, and he will decide to use them if the Iranians don\u2019t change their course of conduct.\u201d It is difficult to think of what tools he has in mind besides nuclear weapons. After all, Trump has used virtually every conventional weapon in the US inventory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is truly amazing to contemplate the depth to which the United States has sunk. Liberal America?
