Το πολίτευμα (φιλελεύθερη δημοκρατία) είναι αυτό που θεμελιώνει διαφορετικό τρόπο ζωής (way of life), εν σχέση με ό,τι δεν είναι φιλελεύθερη Δημοκρατία και ονομάζονται (από την Δύση) : “αυταρχικά καθεστώτα” (authoritarian regimes).
Άρα, το δίλημμα ασφαλείας εκπηγάζει από την αντίσταση των κρατών που διοικούνται από “αυταρχικά καθεστώτα” (όπως ονοματίζονται από τη Δύση), έναντι της εξάπλωσης, επικράτησης του πολιτεύματος της φιλελεύθερης Δημοκρατίας ή των κρατών που έχουν εγκολπωθεί τη φιλελεύθερη Δημοκρατία.

Americans understand that our support for Ukraine strengthens the security of the United States and our Allies, and as President Biden has made clear, the U.S. and the international coalition we have assembled will continue to stand with Ukraine.
Throughout the course of the war, the American people’s support has never wavered, having provided more than $95 billion in U.S. assistance to Ukraine since 2014, including approximately $90 billion since February 24, 2022.

The U.S. Mission to NATO (USNATO) is the official representation of the United States of America to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It is located at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. USNATO represents U.S. foreign policy interests within the Alliance. The mission is a diverse team of individuals representing numerous U.S. federal agencies.
U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO occupies the U.S. chair in the North Atlantic Council (NAC), which is the principal political decision-making body within NATO. The NAC oversees the political and military process relating to security issues affecting the Alliance. The NAC brings together representatives of each member country to discuss policy or operational questions, providing a forum for wide-ranging consultation between members on all issues affecting their peace and security.
