The results of Ramstein-29

Ukraine’s Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal shared the results of Ramstein-29:

 United States – will launch a new mechanism together with NATO that allows European countries to purchase American weapons for Ukraine. European partners have already expressed readiness to contribute funding. Germany will join the initiative by transferring 5 Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.

 Germany – will provide over 200,000 rounds of ammunition for Gepard systems and finance the procurement of Ukrainian long-range drones.

 Canada – will continue financing Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex through the “Danish model” and is allocating 20 million Canadian dollars for the maintenance of Ukrainian tanks.

 Netherlands – will provide €200 million for interceptor drones and €125 million for F-16 aircraft maintenance.

 Norway – will allocate a total of €1 billion in 2025 for drone procurement, including €400 million specifically for purchasing drones from the Ukrainian defense industry.

 Sweden – is preparing a new aid package including air defense systems, artillery, and military equipment
